The purpose of this paper is to study the well-posedness for a system of six equations \(\star\) of Chern-Simons-Dirac equations with five variables. These are the spinor fields \(\Psi_1\), \(\Psi_2\), the gauge fields \(A_0\), \(A_1\) and the nonlinear gauge potential \(N\). The system \(\star\) is an improvement of a system \(\star\star\) of four equations, but without the gauge potential \(N\). The system \(\star\star\) has no physical meaning. The main theorem states that for certain values of the Sobolev parameters \(s\), \(r\), the system \(\star\) together with Lorentz gauge condition and Cauchy data is well-posed in the product Sobolev space. The proofs use Sobolev embedding theorem, Delgado-Candy trick, triangle, Gronvall, Hölder inequalities.
