Let \((W,\lambda)\) be a \(2n\)-dimensional Liouville domain with connected boundary \(M=\partial W\), symplectic form \(\omega=d\lambda\), and induced contact form \(\beta=\lambda|_{M}\) on the boundary. The article's main aim is to introduce Floer homology for symplectomorphisms of a Liouville domain \((W,\lambda)\). The Floer homology group \(HF_{*}(\phi,a)\) is associated to \((W,\lambda)\), an exact symplectomorphism \(\phi:W\rightarrow W\) that is equal to the identity near the boundary, and an element \(-\infty<a<\infty\), called the slope. These Floer homology groups are an extension to the Liouville domains of the Floer homology groups in [\textit{A. Dimca} and \textit{S. Papadima}, Ann. Math. (2) 158, No. 2, 473--507 (2003; Zbl 1068.32019)]. Indeed, these groups also generalize symplectic homology [\textit{K. Cieliebak} et al., Math. Z. 218, No. 1, 103--122 (1995; Zbl 0869.58011); Math. Z. 223, No. 1, 27--45 (1996; Zbl 0869.58013); \textit{A. Floer} et al., Math. Z. 215, No. 1, 37--88 (1994; Zbl 0810.58013); Math. Z. 217, No. 4, 577--606 (1994; Zbl 0869.58012); \textit{C. Viterbo}, Geom. Funct. Anal. 9, No. 5, 985--1033 (1999; Zbl 0954.57015)], in that \(SH(W;\mathbb{Z}_{2})=HF(\mathrm{id},\infty)\). The Floer Homology groups introduced in the article rely on a new variant of the standard action functional, which is adapted to the setting of twisted loops associated to exact symplectomorphisms. The Floer homology groups \(HF_{*}(\phi,a)\) are invariant under compactly supported isotopy of \(\phi\). Thus, these groups are an effective tool for studying the symplectic mapping class group, i.e., the group of isotopy classes of symplectomorphisms of \((W,d\lambda)\) which are equal to the identity near the boundary. An important class of such symplectomorphisms are the so-called fibered Dehn twists of Liouville domains with periodic Reeb flow on the boundary. Main Theorem. Let \((W,\lambda)\) be a Liouville domain with connected boundary such that the Reeb flow of \((\partial W,\lambda|_{\partial W})\) is \(1\)-periodic. Let \(a\in\mathbb{R}\) be a real number that is not a period of a periodic Reeb orbit of \((\partial W,\lambda|_{\partial W})\)). If the fibered Dehn twist represents a class of order \(l\in \mathbb{N}\) in \(\pi_{0}\mathrm{Symp}_{c}(W,d\lambda)\), then \[ HF(\mathrm{id},a)\simeq HF(\mathrm{id},a+l). \] The author attains a more general theorem providing a necessary condition for a loop of contactomorphisms of \(\partial W\) to induce an element in \(\pi_{0}\mathrm{Symp}_{c}(W,d\lambda)\) of certain (prescribed) order.
