Let \(S^{n-1}\) be the unit sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^{n}~(n\geq 2)\) with the normalized Lebesgue measure \(d\sigma=d\sigma(x')\). For \(q\geq 1\), a function \(\Omega(x,z)\) is said to be in \(L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^{q}(S^{n-1})\) if it satisfies \(\Omega(x,\lambda z)=\Omega(x,z)\) for any \(x,z\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\) and \(\lambda>0\), and \[ \|\Omega\|_{L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^q(S^{n-1})} :=\sup_{x\in\mathbb{R}^{n}}\bigg(\int_{S^{n-1}} |\Omega(x,z')|^{q}d\sigma(z')\bigg)^{1/q}<\infty, \] where \(z'=z/|z|\) for any \(z\in \mathbb{R}^{n}\setminus\{0\}\). The purpose of this paper is to study the \(L^2\)-boundedness of the Calderón type commutator generated by the Littlewood-Paley operator with variable kernel and the Lipschitz function \(b\in\operatorname{Lip}(\mathbb{R}^n)\), given by \[ \mu_{\Omega,1;b}(f)(x)=\biggl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \biggl|\frac{1}{t^{2}}\int_{|x-y|\leq t} \frac{\Omega(x,x-y)}{|x-y|^{n-1}}(b(x)-b(y))f(y)dy \biggr|^{2}\frac{dt}{t}\biggr)^{1/2}. \] The authors prove that if \(q>{2(n-1)}/{n}\) and \(\Omega(x,z)\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\times L^{q}(S^{n-1})\) satisfies \[ \int_{S^{n-1}}\Omega(x,z')Y_{m}(z')d\sigma(z')=0 \] for all spherical harmonic polynomials \(Y_{m}\) with degree \(\leq 1\), then the commutator \(\mu_{\Omega,1;b}\) is bounded on \(L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{n})\) provided \(b\in\operatorname{Lip}(\mathbb{R}^n)\).
