    The Chazy \(III\) and \(XII\) equations are written as follows \[ y'''-2yy'+3y^{\prime 2}=K(6y'-y^2)^2,\quad K=0 \text{ or }K=\frac{4}{36-k^2}. \] The authors show that if \(y(z)=6Y(z)\) solves this equation with \(K\neq 0\) then \(Y(z)\) is a convex linear combination \[ Y(z)=\beta_1w_1+\alpha_1w_2+\gamma_1w_3,\quad \alpha_1,\beta_1,\gamma_1>0,\quad \alpha_1+\beta_1+\gamma_1=1, \] where \(w_1,w_2,w_3\) satisfy the Darboux-Halphen system \[ w'_1=-w_2w_3+w_1(w_2+w_3)+\tau^2, \] \[ w'_2=-w_3w_1+w_2(w_3+w_1)+\tau^2, \] \[ w'_3=-w_1w_2+w_3(w_1+w_2)+\tau^2, \] \[ \tau^2=\alpha^2(w_1-w_2)(w_2-w_3)+\beta^2(w_2-w_1)(w_1-w_3)+\gamma^2(w_3-w_1)(w_2-w_3). \] This relation holds only for the special choice of parameters listed in Table 2 in the paper. The variables \(w_1\), \(w_2\), \(w_3\) are expressed in terms of the Schwarz triangle function and it's derivative.
