Nontrivial solutions of systems of Hammerstein integral equations with first derivative dependence (Q1693394)

The authors discuss the existence, non-existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions to a system of Hammerstein integral equations. A key ingredient in the proofs is a new cone of functions of changing sign. The approach is extended to the study of nonnegative solutions of a class of third-order systems of ordinary differential equations with three point boundary conditions. Some examples are included.
