Regularizing effect of \(L^q\) interplay between coefficients in some elliptic equations (Q1696020)

The autors study the linear elliptic problem \(-\operatorname{div}(M(x)\nabla u)+a(x)u=f(x)\) in \(\Omega \), \(u=0\) on \(\partial \Omega \), and the nonlinear elliptic problem \(-\operatorname{div}(A(x,\nabla u)+a(x) u|u|^{p-2}=B(x,u,\nabla u)+f(x)\) in \(\Omega \), \(u=0\) on \(\partial \Omega \). They show the existence of a solution \(u\in W^{1,p}_0(\Omega )\cap L^\infty (\Omega )\) under very weak assumptions on \(A\), \(a\), \(B\), \(f\) and \(M\).
