For a star body \(K\) in \({\mathbb R}^n\) with radial function \(\rho(K,\cdot)\), the authors define \[ C_i(K) = \frac{1}{n} \int_{S^{n-1}} \left(\frac{\rho(K,u)+\rho(K,-u)}{2}\right)^{n-i} dS(u), \] where \(S\) denotes spherical Lebesgue measure on the unit sphere \(S^{n-1}\). Let \(\Psi\) be a radial Blaschke-Minkowski homomorphism in the sense of \textit{F. E. Schuster} ([Mathematika 53, No. 2, 211--234 (2006; Zbl 1129.52002)]; \S5). The authors prove inequalities of the type \[ \left(\frac{C_i(\Psi(K\breve{+} L))}{C_j(\Psi(K\breve{+} L))}\right)^{1/(j-i)} \leq \left(\frac{C_i(\Psi K)}{C_j(\Psi K)}\right)^{1/(j-i)} + \left(\frac{C_i(\Psi L)}{C_j(\Psi L)}\right)^{1/(j-i)} \] for \(i\leq n-1 \leq j\leq n \) with \(i\not=j\); here \(\breve +\) denotes radial Blaschke addition. The equality cases are characterized. The main tool for the proof is the Beckenbach-Dresher inequality. Some other inequalities in a similar style are presented, among them a dual counterpart to an inequality of \textit{A. Giannopoulos} et al. [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 130, No. 8, 2403--2412 (2002; Zbl 1003.52005)], and some inequalities involving the intersection body.
