In the paper under review, the authors prove that the maximal analytic Schwarzschild spacetime is inextendible as a Lorentzian manifold with a continuous metric. They introduce the notion of the space-like diameter of a globally hyperbolic region of a Lorentzian manifold with a merely continuous metric.
