    The paper is devoted to obtaining the upper and lower uniform bounds of the heat kernel \(p_t(x,y)\) for the operator \(\displaystyle \mathcal{L} =\Delta - \nabla (|x|^{-\alpha})\cdot\nabla\) \((\alpha>0)\) in \(M=\displaystyle \mathbb{R}^n\setminus\{0\}\). The heat kernel of operator \(\mathcal{L}\) is the integral kernel of the hear semigroup \(P_t=e^{t\,\mathcal{L}}\) acting in \(L^2\), there is function \(p_t(x,y)\) defined on \(\mathbb{R}_{+}\times M\times M\), such that \(\displaystyle P_t\,f(x)=\int\limits_{M}\,p_t(x,y)\,f(y)\,e^{-|y|^{-\alpha}}\,dy\) for all \(f \in L^2\), \(t>0\), \(x\in M\). At first the authors obtain the isometric inequality for a measure \(\displaystyle e^{-|x|^{-\alpha}}\,dx\) on \(M\). Then, using these inequalities the authors obtain the following result. There are positive constants \(\displaystyle c, c_0, C, C_0\) such that the heat kernel \(p_t\) satisfies the following inequalities: \[ \sup\limits_{x\in M}\,p_t(x,x)\geq c\begin{cases} e^{c_0\,t^{-\alpha/(2+\alpha)}},\quad 0<t<1,\\ t^{-n/2},\quad t\geq 1, \end{cases}\quad \sup\limits_{x,y\in M}\,p_t(x,y)\leq C\begin{cases} e^{C_0\,t^{-\alpha/(2+\alpha)}},\quad 0<t<1,\\ t^{-n/2},\quad t\geq 1. \end{cases} \]
