Let \(T_\Omega\) be a rough homogeneous singular integral, associated with a function \(\Omega\in L^\infty(S^{n-1})\) having zero average over the unit sphere \(S^{n-1}\), i.e. \[ T_\Omega(f)(x)=\text{p.v.} \int_{\mathbb R^n}f(x-y)\frac{\Omega(y/|y|)}{|y|^n}dy. \] By \(T_\Omega^{\ast}\) denote the maximal singular integral which is defined as follows \[ T_\Omega^{\ast}(f)(x)=\sup_{\varepsilon>0} \bigg|\int_{|y|>\varepsilon}f(x-y)\frac{\Omega(y/|y|)}{|y|^n}dy\bigg|. \] In the work it is proved the following result. Theorem. For every weight \(w\in A_2\), we have \[ \|M\circ T_\Omega\|_{L^2(w)\rightarrow L^2(w)}\leq C_n\|\Omega\|_{L^\infty} [w]^2_{A_2},\eqno(1) \] and this estimation is optimal, in general. Here \(M\) denotes the standard Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and \([w]_{A_2}=\sup_Q \frac{\int_Q w \int_Q w^{-1}}{|Q|^2}\). From \((1)\) it follows directly the estimation \[ \|T_\Omega\|_{L^2(w)\rightarrow L^2(w)}\leq C_n\|\Omega\|_{L^\infty} [w]^2_{A_2}, \] proved earlier in the paper [\textit{T. P. Hytönen} et al., Isr. J. Math. 218, 133--164 (2017; Zbl 1368.42015)]. In the work also it is given a short scheme using which from \((1)\) it can be obtained the estimation \[ \|T_\Omega^{\ast}\|_{L^2(w)\rightarrow L^2(w)}\leq C_n\|\Omega\|_{L^\infty} [w]^2_{A_2}, \] proved in the paper [\textit{F. Di Plinio} et al., ``Sparse bounds for maximal rough singular integrals via the Fourier transform'', Preprint, \url{arxiv:1706.09064}]
