For a domain \(D\subset\mathbb C^n\) define the Sibony function \[ s^{}_D(a,z):=\sup\big\{\sqrt{u(z)}:u\in S_D(a)\big\},\quad a,z\in D, \] where \[ S_D(a):=\big\{u:D\longrightarrow[0,1):\log u\in\mathcal P\mathcal S\mathcal H(D),\;u(a)=0,\;u\in\mathcal C^2(\{a\})\big\} \] and \(u\in\mathcal C^2(\{a\})\) means that \(u\) is \(\mathcal C^2\) in a neighborhood of \(a\). For \(n\geq2\) and \(\alpha=(\alpha_1,\dots,\alpha_n)\in\mathbb R^n\setminus\{0\}\) define the elementary Reinhardt domain \[ D^n_{\alpha}=D_{\alpha}:=\big\{z\in\mathbb C^n(\alpha):|z^{\alpha}|:=|z_1|^{\alpha_1}\dots|z_n|^{\alpha_n}<1\big\}, \] where \[ \mathbb C^n(\alpha):=\big\{(z_1,\dots,z_n)\in\mathbb C^n:\forall_{j\in\{1,\dots,n\}}:(\alpha_j<0\Longrightarrow z_j\neq0)\big\}. \] Finally, put \[ \sigma(n,\alpha,a)=\sigma(a):=\#\big\{j\in\{1,\dots,n\}:\alpha_j>0,\;a_j=0\big\}. \] The main result of the paper is an effective formula for \(s^{}_{D_{\alpha}}\): If \(\sigma(a)\geq2\) and \(\mu(n,\alpha,a)=\mu(a):=\min\{\alpha_j:\alpha_j>0,\;a_j=0\}\), then \[ s^{}_{D_{\alpha}}(a,z)=|z^{\alpha}|^{1/\mu(a)},\quad z\in D_{\alpha}. \] It should be mentioned that the case \(\sigma(a)\leq1\) was solved by \textit{M.~Jarnicki} and \textit{P.~Pflug} in [Invariant distances and metrics in complex analysis. Berlin: Walter de Gruyter (1993; Zbl 0789.32001)].
