A question posed by the second author [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 39, No. 3, 545--551 (2015; Zbl 1325.30026)] is answered and the following fact is proved: there exists a complete and minimal Gaussian Gabor system which is not a strong Markushevich basis. In particular, it implies that there is no linear summation method for general Gaussian Gabor expansions.
