A set \(D\) of \(n\)-dimensional subspaces of a finite dimensional vector space is a dual hyperoval of rank \(n\), if the cardinality of \(D\) is \({{q^n-1}\over{q-1}} +1\), \(\dim (X_1 \cap X_2) =1\) and \(X_1 \cap X_2 \cap X_3 =0\) if \(X_1\), \(X_2\) and \(X_3\) are distinct elements of \(D\). The author builds on his own previous results [Adv. Geom. 17, No. 1, 91--108 (2017; Zbl 1441.20002)] and the results of \textit{S. Yoshiara} [Eur. J. Comb. 30, No. 3, 747--757 (2009; Zbl 1166.51005)] to prove the following. Let \(D\) be a dual hyperoval with a non-solvable automorphism group that induces a doubly transitive action on its members, then \(D\) is isomorphic to the Mathieu dual hyperoval or \(D\) is a bilinear quotient of a Huybrechts dual hyperoval.
