The (quite technical) paper under review continues mostly the previous work of the author, initiated in [J. Math. Soc. Japan 66, No. 4, 1227--1248 (2014; Zbl 1310.57043)]. It concerns the study of local deformation theorems for uniform embeddings in particular classes of metric spaces. A \textit{metric \(n\)-manifold} is just an \(n\)-manifold with a fixed compatible metric, like for instance the simply connected complete Riemannian manifold \(M_k^n\) with constant sectional curvature \(k\) (i.e. \(\mathbb S^n\), \(\mathbb R^n\) or \(\mathbb H^n\) for \(k= 1, 0, -1 \) respectively). A metric \(n\)-manifold is called a \textit{Lipschitz metric \(n\)-manifold } if it admits an atlas in which each chart is a (locally) bi-Lipschitz equivalence onto an open subset of the half space \(\mathbb R^n_{\geq 0}\) (e.g. a Riemannian manifold). Recall also that the notions of uniform continuity and uniform topology depend on the choice of metrics, so that it is important to focus only on selected classes of metric spaces. With this in mind, the author defines the notions of \textit{local deformation property} over subsets and global deformation property over product ends for uniform embeddings (called \textit{end deformation property}) in specific manifolds. The main result is that a metric manifold has the local deformation property if it admits a locally geometric group action, namely a proper, cocompact and (locally) isometric action. As a corollary one proves that the local deformation property in a metric manifold only depends on the local deformation property of its ends. In the second part of the paper the author studies the behavior of the end deformation property and relates the local deformation property with the end deformation property for the \(0\)-cone of a compact metric manifold. This proves that, for any compact Lipschitz metric manifold, the \(0\)-cone \(C_0(N,d)_1\) has the end deformation property.
