On the viscoelastic equation with Balakrishnan-Taylor damping and acoustic boundary conditions (Q1711859)

Following previous works of the author about initial-boundary value problems with the same viscoelastic wave equation on bounded domains (for a scalar unknow), the present manuscript establishes the asymptotic decay to zero of global-in-time solutions under the acoustic boundary condition introduced by Beale and coauthors in [\textit{J. T. Beale}, Indiana Univ. Math. J. 26, 199--222 (1977; Zbl 0332.35053); ibid. 25, 895--917 (1976; Zbl 0325.35060); \textit{J. T. Beale} and \textit{S. I. Rosencrans}, Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 80, 1276--1278 (1974; Zbl 0294.35045)].
