Algebraic linearizations of matrix polynomials (Q1713322)

The authors present linearizations of regular matrix polynomials $za(z)d_0 + c_0$, $a(z)b(z)$, $a(z) + b(z)$ and $za(z)d_0b(z) + c_0$, when the linearizations of the polynomials $a(z)$ and $b(z)$ are given. Proofs are mainly based on Mandelbrot polynomials and Schur complements. Some numerical experiments illustrate the theoretical work.
