Multigranulation sequential three-way decisions based on multiple thresholds (Q1726367)

The study is concerned with the problem of three-way decision making in which three decisions (yes-no-postpone) are generated in which the aspects of multiview and multigranular structures are considered. The overall process is formalized with the aid of rough sets and carried out in the sequential way. Given the features of the proposed decision-making environment, various aggregation strategies are investigated. The material is structured in a top-down manner by starting with some prerequisites and the ensuing generalizations in terms of multigranulation involving a series of equivalence relations and vectors of threshold parameters \(a\) and \(b\). The analysis of the developed method is offered. The aggregation mechanisms are discussed in detail along with associated uncertainty measures. The experiments include publicly available data sets.
