Let \(G\) be a real reductive Lie group with Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\) and maximal compact subgroup \(K\). Let \(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathbb{C}}\) be the complexification of \(\mathfrak{g}\). According to the paper under review, an irreducible \((\mathfrak{g}, K)\)-module \((\Pi, V)\) is unipotent if it is unitary and \(\mathrm{Ann}\,\Pi\subset U(\mathfrak{g})\) is a maximal primitive ideal. The first main result of the paper is Theorem 3.5.1, which realizes the unipotent representations of a complex Lie group via a series of \(\Theta\)-correspondences starting from a one-dimensional unitary character. As the second theme, the paper links the \(K\)-types of the unipotent representations with the regular functions of coadjoint orbits. Indeed, the author establishes a conjecture made by Vogan in 1991 for a large class of nilpotent orbits for complex classical Lie groups. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1387.11001].
