Given a smooth projective variety $X$ of dimension $n$ and an ample line bundle $L$, the sectional genus of the polarized variety $(X, L)$ is defined in terms of the intersection formula \[ g(X, L) = 1 + \frac{1}{2} (K_{X} + (n-1)L) L^{n-1}. \] A classification of polarized $(X, L)$ with $g(X, L) \leq 2$ has been obtained by Ionescu [9] and Fujita [5]. A generalization of this invariant to multi-polarized $n$-folds $(X, L_{1}, \dots, L_{n-1})$ was introduced by the author in an earlier paper, which classified all such multi-polarized $n$-folds with sectional genus $\leq 1$. This present paper extends the classification to multi-polarized $n$-folds with \[ g(X, L_{1}, \dots, L_{n-1}) \leq 2. \] The idea is to use the condition $g(X, L_{1}, \dots, L_{n-1}) = 2$ and the generalized Hodge index theorem to give estimates on certain intersection products involving $K_{X}$ and the $L_{i}$. The author then combines this with assumptions on the positivity of the line bundles \[ K_{X} + (n-1)L_{i} \] and existing classification results. The main case deals with when $X$ is a projective bundle over a smooth curve.
