Let \(\mathfrak{g}\) be an affine Kac-Moody algebra, and let \(\mathcal{U}_q(\mathfrak{g})\) be the associated quantum affine algebra, where \(q\) is a non-zero complex number which is not a root of unity. The category \(\mathcal{F}\) of finite dimensional representations of \(\mathcal{U}_q(\mathfrak{g})\) has a tensor structure induced by the Hopf algebra structure of \(\mathcal{U}_q(\mathfrak{g})\). Any object \(V\) in \(\mathcal{F}\) has a weight space decomposition with respect to the underlying finite type quantum group \(\mathcal{U}_q(\overline{\mathfrak{g}})\). Such a \(V\) is called cyclic if it is generated by a highest weight vector with respect to \(\mathcal{U}_q(\overline{\mathfrak{g}})\). The main aim of the paper is to prove that if \(S_1,\ldots,S_N\) are simple objects of \(\mathcal{F}\) such that \(S_i\otimes S_j\) is cyclic for any \(i<j\), then \(S_1\otimes \ldots \otimes S_N\) is cyclic.
