The conformal Ricci flow was introduced by \textit{A. E. Fischer} in [Classical Quantum Gravity 21, No. 3, S171--S218 (2004; Zbl 1050.53029)] as a variation of the classical Ricci flow equation that modifies the unit volume constraint of that equation to a scalar curvature constraint. The paper under review deals with the conformal Ricci flow on asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds. The main results of the paper are the short-time existence of conformal Ricci flow on asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds (Theorem 1.1) and a local Shi-type estimate for conformal Ricci flow (Theorem 1.2). It is worth noting that the proof of Theorem 1.1 is based on Banach's contraction mapping theorem, while the key ingredient in the proof of Theorem 1.2 is the parabolic maximum principle.
