The paper deals with root systems in the rings of integers of a number field. Here a number field means an extension of finite degree of the filed \({\mathbb Q}\). The authors classify the types of root systems \(R\) in the rings of integers of number fields \(K\) such that the Weyl group \(W(R)\) lies in the group generated by \(\hbox{Aut}(K)\) and multiplications by the elements of \(K^\star=K\setminus\{0\}\).
