The paper under review is a nice work and is clearly presented. The existence of solitary waves is established along a (bifurcation) curve in the parameter space, with Crandall-Rabinowitz type machinery. The global extension of the curve is also studied. The machinery developed here is quite intensive and complete. Dynamical system tools such as the center manifold theorem are utilized, too.
