The Cauchy problem for the three dimensional inviscid Boussinesq system is studied for the initial data close to stratified solution with large temperature gradient. The long time existence of classical solutions for large initial data and the buoyancy frequency large enough is constructed. Moreover, in the singular limit of the strong stratification, solutions of the two dimensional incompressible Euler equations are obtained.
