For an infinite cardinal \(\kappa\), the generalized Borel hypothesis \(\mathrm{GBH}_\kappa\) at \(\kappa\) asserts that each Rothberger bounded subset of an \(\aleph_0\)-bounded group of weight \(\kappa\) has cardinality at most \(\kappa\). \(\mathrm{GBH}_{\aleph_0}\) is known to be equivalent to the Borel conjecture. The main result of the paper affirms the consistency, relative to an inaccessible cardinal, of ``\(\mathrm{GBH}_{\aleph_0}\) holds + There is one and only one regular uncountable cardinal \(\kappa\) such that \(\mathrm{GBH}_\kappa\) holds + \(\mathrm{GBH}_\lambda\) fails for any singular cardinal \(\lambda\) of cofinality \(\omega\)''.
