The paper is devoted to the study of a family of dissipative dynamical systems $(X,\mathbb R,\pi_{\lambda})$ on a local compact metric space $X$ depending on a parameter $\lambda \in [0,1]$. The authors note that, generally speaking, the global attractor of such dynamical systems is not robust with respect to small perturbations. They also study bifurcations of the global attractor into local attractors using shape theoretical methods and the Conley index.
