Flexible and inflexible \(CR\) submanifolds (Q1741621)

In the paper under review the authors study the flexibility of CR submanifolds of CR-dimension \(n\) and codimension \(d\) in \(\mathbb C^{n+d}\). The concept of flexibility has been introduced in an earlier paper by the authors and it captures the phenomenon of the existence of compactly supported deformations of the CR submanifold that are not globally embeddable. The authors prove that 2-pseudoconcave CR submanifolds of CR-dimension \(n\) and codimension \(d\) are inflexible.
