In [Chaos 19, No. 4, 043104, 11 p. (2009; Zbl 1311.34082)], \textit{S. A. Marvel} et al. showed that sinusoidally coupled phase oscillators evolve by Möbius group action. In particular, this applies to all-to-all coupled networks of identical Kuramoto phase oscillators, for which there is one Möbius group. This paper considers more complex networks (not all-to-all coupled), and the authors try to determine for these networks the different Möbius groups which each describe a subset of oscillators which ``agree'' in the sense that they are described by the same transformation. Each of these groups is then represented by a complex number, and the behaviour of these numbers over time, and for different networks, is studied.
