Let \(u\) be an unknown velocity field, \(q\) the pressure field and \(g\) a given external force. The aim of this paper is to study the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations: \[ u_t -\Delta u+u\cdot \nabla u+\nabla q=g,\quad \operatorname{div}u=0,\;t>0 . \tag{1} \] First, equation (1) is transformed and the associated linearized problem is studied. Estimates for oscillatory integrals are collected. Finally, the linearized Navier-Stokes equation is studied. The proofs consist of several steps and use Taylor formula, Gaussian bell, integration by parts, Bogovski operator, Sobolev embedding, mean value theorem for integrals, dominated convergence theorem, Calderon-Zygmund and Poincaré inequalities. The authors use the notation \(\gamma(\cdot)\) for the gamma function.
