The authors consider the semilinear evolution inclusion \[ x'(t)\subset Ax(t)+F(t,x(t)) \] on the compact interval \([0,b]\) and also on the unbounded interval \(\left[ 0,\infty \right) \), in a Banach space \(X\), where \(F:\left[ 0,\infty \right) \times X\rightarrow 2^{X}\) satisfies a growth condition, \(F(t,\cdot )\) is upper semicontinous and \(F(\cdot ,x)\) has strongly measurable selections, and \(A:D(A)\subseteq X\rightarrow X\) is a nondensely defined closed linear operator satisfying the Hille-Yosida condition and the semigroup is noncompact. It is proven that the solution set is a nonempty, compact \(R_{\delta }\) set for the problem on \([0,b]\) and then shown that this also holds for the problem on \(\left[ 0,\infty \right) \). \ An application to a parabolic partial differential inclusion is also given. The proofs make use of a fixed point theorem and other results found in [\textit{M. Kamenskii} et al., Condensing multivalued maps and semilinear differential inclusions in Banach spaces. Berlin: de Gruyter (2001; Zbl 0988.34001)].
