Slice regular Malmquist-Takenaka system in the quaternionic Hardy spaces (Q1748013)

\textit{M. Pap} and \textit{F. Schipp}, [PU. M. A., Pure Math. Appl. 15, No. 2--3, 261--272 (2004; Zbl 1108.33013)] and \textit{T. Qian} et al., [Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 35, No. 1, 43--64 (2012; Zbl 1254.30086)] have introduced in the quaternionic setting analogues of the well-known complex Malmquist-Takenaka systems which are complete in the Hardy space of the unit disc. The former analogue is not analytic in the quaternionic setting, whereas the latter analogue is monogenic, but cannot be written in closed form. In the paper under review, a (new) slice regular analogue of the complex Malmquist-Takenaka system is introduced wherein certain restrictions of the parameters of the system result in a complete orthonormal system in the quaternionic Hardy spaces of the unit ball. Some properties of the new system are also proved.
