The third volume of the series (for the previous volumes see Zbl 1348.22001 and Zbl 1375.17002) treats Lie superalgebras and associated supersymmetries. The volume consists of four chapters, bibliography and index. The first chapter is a brief introduction to Lie superalgebras containing basic definitions of superalgebras, associated root systems and representations and also touching upon the classification of (simple) finite dimensional Lie superalgebras. The second chapter is devoted to conformal supersymmetry in \(4D\). It provides criteria for reducibility of Verma modules for the Lie superalgebra associated with the \(D=4\) conformal supersymmetry and lists the corresponding character formulae. The third chapter gives some examples of the properties of conformal supersymmetries for \(D>4\) commending on unitarity of some representations of the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra \(\mathrm{osp}(1| 2n)\) both over the real and complex fields. Finally, the last, fourth, chapter, considers quantum deformations on Lie supergroups and Lie superalgebras. Just like the first two volumes, the third volume contains not many proofs and simply lists various facts.
