Global well-posedness of the incompressible magnetohydrodynamics (Q1750308)

This paper deals with the Cauchy problem of the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic systems with a strong magnetic background. It is shown that the trivial steady solution is nonlinearly stable under small initial perturbations uniformly in viscosity. Under certain assumptions, the Cauchy problem is shown to be globally well-posed for all spaces with dimension greater than or equal to 2; the proof is based on the inherent strong null structure of the system.
