The aim is to extend a theory of limited range, multilinear extrapolation, which, in the linear case, was developed in [\textit{P. Auscher} and \textit{J. M. Martell}, Adv. Math. 212, No. 1, 225--276 (2007; Zbl 1213.42030)]. The main tool here is the off-diagonal extrapolation theorem which generalizes many results in the extrapolation theory of Rubio de Francia. Using that the authors find sufficient conditions on a pair of weights \(w_1\), \(w_2\) for the bilinear Hilbert transform \[ \operatorname{BH}(f_1,f_2)=\text{p.v.}\,\int_{\mathbb R}f_1(x-t)f_2(x+t)\frac{\text{d\,}t}{t} \] to satisfy weighted norm inequalities of the form \[ \|\operatorname{BH}(f_1,f_2)\|_{L^p(w^p)} \le C \|f_1\|_{L^{p_1}(w^{p_1})}\|f_2\|_{L^{p_2}(w^{p_2})}, \] where \(p_1, p_2\in(1,\infty)\), \(1/p=1/p_1+1/p_2\), \(w=w_1w_2\) and \(C>0\) is independent of \(f_1\) and \(f_2\) (we are using the notation \(\|g\|_{L^q(v)}=\int_{\mathbb R}|g(x)|^qv(x)\,\text{d}x\)). It essentiell generalizes a recent result of \textit{A. Culiuc} et al. [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 98, No. 2, 369--392 (2018; Zbl 1402.42013)]. Another application of authors' method leads to the result that the bilinear Hilbert transform satisfies some vector-valued inequalities with Muckenhoupt weights. It extends some unweighted estimates of \textit{C. Benea} and \textit{C. Muscalu} [Anal. PDE 9, No. 8, 1931--1988 (2016; Zbl 1361.42005); J. Funct. Anal. 273, No. 4, 1295--1353 (2017; Zbl 1392.42024)]. At the end let us mention authors' generalization of recent estimates for multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators of \textit{D. Carando} et al. [J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 25, No. 1, 51--85 (2019; Zbl 07005621)].
