The author investigates the so-called unbounded order convergent to \(x\) (\textit{uo-}convergent to \(x\)) nets \((x_{\alpha})\) in a Banach lattice \(E,\) unbounded norm convergent to \(x\) (\textit{un-}convergent to \(x\)), and unbounded absolutely weakly convergent to \(x\) (\textit{uaw-}convergent to \(x\)). A net \((x_{\alpha})\) is \textit{uo-}convergent to \(x\) if, for every \(u \in E_{+}\), the net \((|x_{\alpha}-x|\wedge u)\) converges to zero in order. Similarly for the \textit{un-}convergent, respectively \textit{uaw-}convergent nets. A relevant example of usefulness of these concepts is Theorem 10, which states that the following are equivalent: \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] \(E\) is reflexive; \item[(ii)] every norm bounded \textit{uo-}Cauchy net in \(E\) is weakly convergent; \item[ (iii)] every norm bounded \textit{uo-}Cauchy sequence in \(E\) is weakly convergent. \end{itemize}
