Summary: Simultaneous core partitions have attracted much attention since \textit{J. Anderson}'s work [Discrete Math. 248, No. 1--3, 237--243 (2002; Zbl 1001.05015)] on the number of \((t_1,t_2)\)-core partitions. In this paper we focus on simultaneous core partitions with distinct parts. The generating function of \(t\)-core partitions with distinct parts is obtained. We also prove results on the number, the largest size and the average size of \((t, t + 1)\)-core partitions with distinct parts. This gives a complete answer to a conjecture of \textit{T. Amdeberhan} [``Theorems, problems and conjectures'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1207.4045}], which is partly and independently proved by \textit{A. Straub} [Eur. J. Comb. 57, 40--49 (2016; Zbl 1339.05025)], \textit{R. Nath} and \textit{J. A. Sellers} [Electron. J. Comb. 24, No. 1, Research Paper P1.5, 20 p. (2017; Zbl 1355.05039)], and \textit{A. Zaleski} [Adv. Appl. Math. 84, 1--7 (2017; Zbl 1352.05022)] recently.
