In the paper, the authors show how the methods from algebraic geometry used to solve the inverse problem of the usual Galois theory can be successfully applied in the differential Galois theory. Introducing the concept of differential torsor, the authors develop the technique of patching for functional fields over complex numbers. As a result, they are able to solve the embedding problem. Theorem. Every differential embedding problem over a one-variable complex function field (equipped with any nontrivial derivation), has a proper solution. The article contains an addendum in which there are all necessary definitions and results from the algebraic geometry, as well as an extensive list of references on the topic.
