This paper provides explicit expressions for certain singular vectors in Verma modules for some basic classical simple Lie superalgebras. The formulas are all given by applications of a string of root vectors acting on the highest weight vector. Their explicit, relatively simple expressions make them potentially useful for applications. Much of the paper is spent showing that the expressions are both non-zero and singular vectors. Explicitly, let \(\mathfrak{g}\) be a basic simple Lie superalgebra and choose a Borel subalgebra \(\mathfrak{b}\) for which there is at most one odd, isotropic simple root. Consider a Verma module \(M(\lambda)\) of highest weight \(\lambda-\rho\), where \(\rho\) is the Weyl vector. Let \(W'\) be the subgroup of the Weyl group generated by reflections in the nonisotropic simple roots. For a positive non-isotropic root \(\gamma\), write \(s_{\gamma}\) for the reflection in the root \(\gamma\). Then if \(\lambda-s_{\gamma}\lambda\) is a sum of positive roots, there exists a nonzero singular vector of highest weight \(s_{\gamma}\lambda-\rho\) in \(M(\lambda)\) by an argument using Shapovalov determinants (see [\textit{H. P. Jakobsen}, The full set of unitarizable highest weight modules of basic classical Lie superalgebras. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (1994; Zbl 0811.17002)]). In this paper, the author gives explicit formulas for many such singular vectors for \(\mathfrak{osp}(m|2n)\), \(G(3)\), and \(F(4)\), in the exceptional case that \(\gamma\) does not lie in the \(W'\)-orbit of a simple root. The case of \(D(2,1;a)\) is done in [\textit{S.-J. Cheng} and \textit{W. Wang}, Transform. Groups 24, No. 3, 781--821 (2019; Zbl 1434.17011)]. If \(\gamma\) lies in the \(W'\)-orbit of a simple root, then methods originally due to Shapovalov, and used by Musson in this setting, already give an approach to understanding these singular vectors (see [\textit{I. M. Musson}, Lie superalgebras and enveloping algebras. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (2012; Zbl 1255.17001)]).
