    The paper deals with the following class of quasilinear problems \((P_{\epsilon})\): \[ -\operatorname{div}(\epsilon^2\phi(\epsilon |\nabla u|) \nabla u)+V(x)\phi(|u|) u=f(u) , \quad u \in W^{1,\Phi}(\mathbb R^N),\quad N\geq 2, \] where \(V,f\) are continuous functions, \(\phi\) is a \(C^1\)-function, and \(\Phi(t)=\int_0^{|t|}\phi(s) ds.\) Several additionnal conditions are imposed on \(f,\phi\) and \(V\). In particular, these conditions imply that \(\Phi\) is a N-function so that \(W^{1,\Phi}(\mathbb R^N)\) is a Orlicz-Sobolev space, and that \[ V_{\infty}=\liminf _{|z|\to\infty} V(z)>\inf _{z\in\mathbb R^N} V(z) =V_0>0. \] Let \(M=\{x\in\mathbb R^N:\;V(x)=V_0\},\) and \(M_{\delta}=\{x\in\mathbb R^N:\;\mathrm{dist}(x,M)\leq \delta\}\), for \(\delta>0\). It is proved that, for any \(\delta >0\) small enough, there exists \(\epsilon_{\delta}\) such that \((P_{\epsilon})\) has, at least, \(\mathrm{cat}_{M_{\delta}} (M)\) positive solutions, for any \(0<\epsilon<\epsilon_{\delta}.\) Moreover, if \(u_{\epsilon_n}\) is one of these solutions, and \(x_n\) is a global maximum point of \(u_{\epsilon_n}\), then \(\underset{n\to+\infty}{\lim} V(\epsilon_nx_n)=V_0\), i.e., the maximum points of the \(u_{\epsilon_n}\) are concentrated near to minimum points of \(V\).
