The most general multidimensional Hausdorff operator has been introduced in papers by G. Brown and F. Móricz and by \textit{A. Lerner} and \textit{E. Liflyand} [J. Aust. Math. Soc. 83, No. 1, 79--86 (2007; Zbl 1143.47023)]. Some partial cases are studied in the paper under review. The spaces considered are the Lebesgue spaces and Herz spaces. The main point is sharp constants in certain cases.
