Let \(R\) be a commutative ring. In [Arch. Math., Brno 37, No. 4, 273--278 (2001; Zbl 1090.13005)], the reviewer introduced the dual notion of prime submodules. In the paper under review, the authors study further the dual notion of prime submodules. In addition, they introduce the dual notion of weak multiplication \(R\)-modules in terms of the dual notion of prime submodules and investigate some related results.
