Let \(K\) be a field and \(D\) be a finite dimensional central division algebra over \(K\). The genus of \(D\), denoted by \(\mathbf{gen}(D)\) is defined to be the set of all classes \([D']\in\text{Br}(K)\) which are represented by central division algebras \(D'\) having the same maximal subfields as \(D\). The authors give examples where \(\mathbf{gen}(D)\) is a singleton and some other examples where it is finite.
