\textit{M. Krein} [C. R. (Dokl.) Acad. Sci. URSS, n. Ser. 53, 3--6 (1946; Zbl 0063.03359)] used the method of directed functionals for finding integral representations of positive-definite kernels \(K(x, y)\). Recently, the author [Ukr. Mat. Zh. 62, No. 2, 281--284 (2010); translation in Ukr. Math. J. 62, No. 2, 320--324 (2010; Zbl 1224.26001)] constructed the integral representation of a pair of even positive-definite functions of one variable. This paper deals with a theorem for a pair of even positive-definite functions of two variables. This theorem generalizes some previous results.
