Localization of limit sets of solutions of nonautonomous delay equations by nonmonotone functionals (Q1760435)

The solutions of nonautonomous delay equations \(x'(t)=f(t, x_t)\) are considered. The author uses sign-definite nonmonotone functionals to obtain partial and complete localizations of the limit sets, and sign-indefinite functionals to obtain the localization of the limit sets. Based on information on the localization of the limit sets, the author discusses the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium \(x(t)\equiv 0\) and presents new generalizations of the Barbashin-Krasovskii theorem.
