The author studies the spectral properties of three-layer difference schemes for parabolic equations with nonlocal integral conditions. The three-layer schemes are first represented in the form of an equivalent two-layer scheme. Under suitable conditions, the author shows that the spectral properties of the three-layer schemes are equivalent to the spectral properties of the corresponding two-layer scheme. Then the stability of three-layer schemes follows if the matrix spectrum of the two-layer scheme is less than one, which is guaranteed under some conditions depending on the parameters in the integral conditions.
