Summary: The aim of this paper is to extend the notions of E.A. property and \textit{CLRg} property for coupled mappings and use these notions to generalize the recent results of \textit{X.-Q. Hu} [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2011, Article ID 363716, 14 p. (2011; Zbl 1213.54012)]. The main result is supported by a suitable example.
