This paper establishes the exponential decay with time of regular solutions of the Kirchhoff wave equation subject to a nonlocal condition and weak damping in a noncylindrical domain of \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\). After an introduction describing the relevance of this problem to the transverse displacement of a viscoelastic membrane, the existence and regularity of solutions are established first, and then the exponential decay property of solutions as time increases.
