A singular value of a meromorphic function in the plane \({\mathbb C}\) is a critical value or an asymptotic value. Langley (2002) proved that there exists an absolute constant \(c>0\) such that if a meromorphic function \(f\) has only three singular values, then \[ \liminf_{r\to \infty}\frac{T(r,f)}{\log ^2r}\geq c. \] The author proves that sharp value of \(c\) is \(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2\pi}.\) There are many other results in the paper. Case of an entire \(f\) is discussed as well.
