This paper studies the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions that arise from a coupled system of Landau-Lifschitz equations and Maxwell equations as the exchange coefficients between the systems tend to zero. The BKW method is used to show that as a result a boundary layer develops. The solutions of this problem arise as a result of an initial boundary value problem for a mathematical model in ferromagnetism.
