The paper under review studies special Calabi-Yau 3-folds. The speciality comes both from an infinite dimensional automorphism group and from the existence of infinitely many divisorial contractions. The two aspect are related by the Morrison cone conjecture. The main result of the paper is a birational characterisation of a Calabi-Yau 3-fold with infinitely many divisorial contractions. The author gives examples of such Calabi-Yau's.
